Do you know how to build a hydrogen generator for cars ?

Do you know what a hydrogen generator can help you achieve at all?

Water powered autos have been produced for a particularly long time. It does not take a brain scientist to work out how these vehicles operate. They are getting their get up and go from hydrogen that is put into gas.

Water powered autos, a.k.a. vehicles using "hydrogen generator for cars" have plenty of things going for them. Need proof? Go on over to the vehicle shop and have a look for yourself. You may have quite a challenge making an attempt to pick a water powered automobile out of a line up. Sure, if you went by one as you drove down the line, you could realize it.

The cars using hho generators will be the automobile that is the quietest. That is because it makes few vibrations as is runs.

Wagon drivers are making their autos to run with a hydrogen generator to save cash on gas, and who can blame them? It is a fact that van drivers do a ton of driving, and high gas costs could mean lots of trouble for them.

You can buy a hybrid car or you can convert your car into an auto that runs on water. You should buy kits from some different places. Just ensure you make your purchase from a trustworthy place or source. It is a no-brainer to install the kits and everything can be reversed.

Only a few hours of work are required to assemble and install your own hho generator for car. Doing the work yourself will bring the total costs at around $75 to $100.

On the other hand, already built hydrogen generators can cost up to thousands of dollars.. and you don't have to pay this much.

I have personally tried many different gas savers, but I can claim loud and proud that the only systems I do recommend to my friends are the hydrogen generator for cars.

Mercedes Design Shows Why They're Favorites

What is the definition of a classic car? One answer just might be: Mercedes Benz. With brilliant design and craftsmanship, Mercedes has always been in the top of their class, setting the standard for everyone else to follow.

Mercedes Benz is the oldest and arguably the most famous car brand in the entire world. Each car is built to reflect a specific design and performance philosophy although every car is recognizable as part of the Mercedes family. In this way, customers can trust that their vehicle will have the power, comfort, and handling that is synonymous with the Mercedes name.

Mercedes relies on target groups to maintain their admirable brand identity. Never veering from their original three-point philosophy, designers are continually dreaming up new models that represent the changing times and the prospect of a high tech future. As a result, Mercedes manages to bridge the gap between the past and the present, the traditional and the contemporary.

The latest Mercedes model is a stellar example of this modern mindset. The SLR McLaren is a wondrous achievement that has been called the Greatest Car in the World by Esquire Magazine. With a frame made from carbon fiber instead of the usual steel and a modern, stunning exterior design, this car heralds the next wave of automobiles and establishes that Mercedes Benz will lead us to the classic cars of the future.

The front seat is designed like a cockpit for a reason. When you drive an SLR McLaren, you are not just the driver youre the pilot. Mercedes has built you a road-craft for you to fly across the open air highway. With ample, leather seats and dual zone CFC-free automatic climate control, its better than your own private jet. Take it home. Take it anywhere. Wherever you go, Mercedes will send you in style.

If you have a car you want to sell, you could choose to advertise via your local newspaper. Of course, the price for one of those ads can be pretty high and you'll have only a limited amount of space to tell potential buyers why your used car should become their new prized possession. A better option is to sell cars online. Here's how you do it.

Step One: Find a Site

The Internet offers plenty of options for people and this includes a number of different places where you could sell used car models fairly easily, including online classified sites and auction sites. However, you're probably going to attract more serious buyers if you can stick to a web site that is designed for and dedicated to the auto industry. Some of these sites will allow you to sell car for free. That's a much better deal than what you'd get by advertising in a newspaper or at an auction site.

Now maybe you also run a car dealership and are just looking for a better way to reach potential buyers with your stock. Don't worry. Many of the same sites will be available to you, as well. While some of the sites may charge you, you can find other that make this service free to you, as well.

Step Two: Enter Information

Whether you're car dealers or not, the next step is to provide as much information as possible about the car or cars you have to sell. The more information you can provide for potential buyers about the pre owned car you are trying to sell the more likely you are to find serious interest being given to the vehicle. Remember to be honest as well.

Choosing the right online resource

You should choose the right web resource to sell your car online to get the best response. Prefer local websites as they have huge masses of potential visitors coming to their site and can help you in getting potential customers out of them.

Automarket.com.au is one of biggest automotive portals in Australia offering free car advertising to the car dealers and private community, so if you have used car, second hand car or pre owned car for selling, then you can advertise you car for free on Automarket.com.au today. Visit automarket.com.au to get more information on buying and selling cars in Australia.

A Load of Extra Camping Equipment

This article is for the picky loader - those who want everything that is best for their camping trip. Think everything fun, comfortable and luxurious.

Let us face it, some campers would not want to go out camping at all if they are not sure they would feel a lot at home. Some campers would not settle with just the basic camping equipment out there. We definitely understand that. Living in the wilds could be intimidating, and they need all the comfort they could get - even at the point of spending their whole paycheck on all of the best camping equipment they could find.

Everything, as in everything. The average loader would settle for the just the top necessities when it comes to camping, but the picky loader would go for everything that will make his vacation the best it could be. And the best it could be would mean bringing a load of extra camping equipment. Everything you will be needing from intricate lighters to portable DVD's. If you want your camping trip to go an extra mile, then don't forget these luxuries.

Not all types of camping are the same. Some are just as simple as going through the night in the outdoors, with the simple joys like stargazing. Some are challenged to go unharmed in an un-chartered territory. And some like to party-ay in the woods without a single care in the world. Nonetheless these things would be impossible if you happen to fail in packing the ultra needed camping equipment that go alongside your dreams and ideals of the perfect getaway in the ultimate outdoors. Here is the best you could get when it comes to camping.

1. Beer and loads of uncooked steak.
2. Recipes.

Portable electric generators are very useful either indoors or outdoors. They are quite easy to use and environmentally friendly. There are quite a few different models and brands available on the market. All brands have various safety features in addition to being convenient to use.

Electric generators are useful devices when your regular power source is unavailable or extra power is needed. They are available in different sizes and in different levels of performance or quality.

In an emergency, they are capable of running almost any electrical appliance in your home. Another good use for them is when you are away on a camping vacation. You will also find them used in construction sites as well.

In order to connect your portable electric generator to your appliances, you will require the use of a transfer switch. While the generator is in operation, the transfer switch will take the house offline from its traditional power source.

The switch protects the generator when the utility workers restore power. In order to use a transfer switch, a qualified electrician must install it and the local utility company must inspect it.

How do you know what sized electric generator you should get for your home? The idea is to size it based on your emergency needs. Some appliances in your home use a lot more power at start-up than they do when they are running.

Some appliances in this category would be freezers, washing machines, furnace motors and refrigerators. Due to this, it can be a little difficult to size electric generators for the home. The total amount of wattage that will be connected to the generator at one time needs to be determined.

Most motors and appliances will have the amount of watts they use on a label somewhere on the device. Some appliances, such as an air conditioner or a heat pump should not be connected to a portable electric generator as they use too much power.

This article will explore VanDwelling: What is it? Why would anyone choose to live that way? How can one make their living space more comfortable and functional? And, should you personally consider it? Look for additional articles that discuss additional aspects of vandwelling such as: short term versus long term van dwelling, travel versus stationary vanwdwelling and more indepth preparation suggested for vandwelling.

What is it? Vandwelling simply means using a van as a dwelling as well as a mode of transportation. Those with plenty of money may be driving a Roadway or Pleasureway Camper Van with all the bells and whistles of a much larger RV, however most of them would probably refer to themselves as "RV'ers" or "Full-timers" instead of "Vandwellers". For the most part, most vandwellers are those driving converted vans. Many of those converted living spaces are self built/converted.

Why would anyone choose to live that way? Many choose this lifestyle for many different reasons. One of the most basic reasons is: life circumstances. Some vandwellers began to dwell in their vehicles as a necessity due to long work commutes. Many vandwellers started out as displaced individuals due to divorces/break-ups, loss of a job, financial troubles, a lease ending and not ready to sign another, etcetera. Often life circumstances have forced many into the lifestyle, including the current massive foreclosure dilemma of recent months. However, many times once one has experienced vandwelling and the fear of the unknown is no longer an element they find they like it! The freedom, saving monies, having the courage to be different/unique in the face of a mostly generic follow the societal guidelines world and the ability to live on less and experience so much is intoxicating.

How can one make their living space more comfortable and functional? First, consider that as a vandweller it is important to be equipped for no electricity to be available as well as being equipped for full hook-up options. It is always best to defer to the lower wattage/amperage options available in everything, especially large power draw items such as a microwave or A/C. One has to determine what their particular situation is and what they personally need and work from there. The most basic needs are the most important. So let's start there. You need a place to sleep as comfortably as possible. I have a conversion van that came with a back seat that lays down into a nice sized bed. I use a backrest with arms (for sitting up on it) and lots of pillows for additional comfort. Though the bed as is, is pretty comfortable, I also have a 2" memory foam mattress topper for additional comfort as well. There are many that don't have this option and build a wood base for a bed or use another option such as an air bed. The next basic for most, is bathroom options. Some use composting toilets, others use devices as simple as a plastic container designed specifically for either males or females. My personal choice is a hassock type simple portable toilet that one can use standard kitchen bags (that can be quickly and courteously disposed of) with the use of kitty litter to keep everything as clean and odor free as possible. I like the hassock style because they look quite harmless, it has a tight top lid, and can be topped with a cloth for use as a side table when not in use (Or just shove it out of sight). Throw in a few battery operated lights (LED lamps put out a lot of light with very little battery power!) In the warmer months try to park in the shade and have battery operated fans (some have both battery options and a power supply for electrical use.) One can use a generator or solar options but that definitely requires another article! With electrical hook-ups consider a small swamp cooler or portable A/C unit. During the winter months toasty clothing (thermal underwear, socks etc.) and a thermal sleeping bag will greatly improve your sleep conditions. For very cold nights consider a portable propane heater with a safe-off option and be sure to ventilate! (It is extremely important to leave a window partially open with a propane heater and to have the safe-off option for your safety and well-being.) With electric hook-up a small ceramic heater will do.

For the next level: Decide what you need/want and evaluate how much living space you have available. For storing and/or cooking food you may include something as simple as a cooler (I have a stainless steel cooler that keeps ice cold for 3 days to a week, depending on the outside temperatures). Some have 3 way refrigerators (AC/DC/Propane) but they can be very pricey. I like the heavy duty cooler option because it is low maintenance and of course will work whether I have electric hookup available or not. If you plan to cook, there are many options from camp stoves using propane and portable grills, low tech 12 volt warmers and even thermoses that can be used for simple cooking methods. With electric hook-ups of course there are many space saving options from the new convection portable type "ovens" that grill/steam/roast/bake in 1/2 the time with amazing results, (I have the black & stainless option of the NuWave Oven) as well as George Foreman type grills and many other options. Next, one must consider space saving organization. This can range from simple plastic containers that slide under the bed to nice organizational products especially made for clothes, pantry items, personal items etcetera. I have several black soft-sided organizational unit that aid me very well for all the aforementioned.

And finally, Taking one's personal needs and wants and putting it together with the interior design/look that refect the personal style one individually prefers make "the" space "your" space. I have black organizers and mostly stainless steel and black devices and equipment. My van interior is a nice rich beige color and I also have touches of greens, beiges and lavenders in my bedding and pillows to soften the overall look. Throw in those things that are important to you or that you enjoy. (IE: Small flat screen TV, portable DVD/CD player, reading material etcetera.) I power these simple low power usage items with a portable power station that can be powered up during the day almost anywhere. There are many many things one can do to fine tune their new small living environment.

Should you personally consider vandwelling? Remember this is MY personal opinion: If you are a single or a couple that can flourish and grow in small spaces then it is something you may want to explore. Consider the following aspects of you and your personality: Do small spaces feel cozy to you instead of claustrophobic? Do you acclimate well to non-traditional choices? Can you adapt to change? Are you in a place in life where you don't need large spaces for family members to enter often? As you read this article did you feel an excitement build or were you scared silly at the thought of vandwelling? And, finally you can actually do anything you choose to and pretty much be happy if you want to. But only you can decide if it may possibly work for you. I would suggest you google "vandwelling" and go on my website listed below and read my story on the main page and then go on the resource tab and go into some of the resource websites and explore the lifestyle option for a while before you make any radical choices.

Look for additional articles to come soon. Until then... Know that you can do most of whatever your head tells you you can do so think well. You don't have to follow the leader... You can be the leader. Just stay safe, do things honestly and legally, be respectful of others and their property, and finally enjoy life!

Blessings for Your Life's Journeys, Brenda Curtiss

Every year unfortunate accidents related portable generators end up causing physical injury and death. The majority involve CO poisoning from generators used indoors or in partially enclosed spaces. The others are related to improper set-up and installation and not knowing or ignoring clearly stated safety rules. Notably, these tragic incidents and accidents could have been altogether avoided.

Simply put, when used improperly, portable generators become hazardous to your health, safety, life and property. Set up and used properly, you can enjoy the benefits of portable generators without any hitches. There are six eminent dangers associated with these devices. With the advice of the experts, you can spare yourself and others from these dangers:
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Portable generators, when running, emit a highly toxic gas known as carbon monoxide or CO. What makes this gas so dangerous is that it is literally impossible to detect because it is both odorless and colorless. Remember, you cannot smell or see CO.

More often than not, people succumb to carbon monoxide poisoning without ever realizing they were in harm's way. You can avoid carbon dioxide poisoning by placing the portable generator only in areas specified by our experts. Here is our list of do's and don'ts concerning this potential hazard.

DO NOT ever run a portable generator indoors; that means DO NOT run them in: rooms, basements, garages, crawlspaces or any other enclosed space. Even if the room or area has ventilation, take note: portable generators were not meant to run indoors, not even in partially enclosed spaces.

DO NOT ever position a portable generator beside any window, door or vent or near any opening in which people or animals may be visiting, staying or living. A common myth is; if you open doors and windows or use fans you can prevent CO build-up; THIS IS A COMPLETELY FALSE STATEMENT! Carbon monoxide from portable generators can seep through windows, doors and openings even though it is running outdoors.

DO advise everyone that will be near a portable generator of the hazards and symptoms of CO poisoning and the safety precautions. If anyone experiences symptoms of carbon dioxide poisoning, which include: nausea, dizziness, headache and tiredness, get to fresh air IMMEDIATELY, then seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY! DO advise the medical staff that CO poisoning is suspected. DO contact the fire department so that they can determine when it is safe to re-enter the property.

DO install battery-operated carbon monoxide alarms. These alarms save lives! They should be certified to the requirements of the latest safety standards for CO alarms. Test them frequently and replace weak and dead batteries.

DO follow all of the set-up and operation instructions that come with your portable generator.

Fire Hazards From Improper Refueling

Portable generators get hot; therefore heed this warning to the letter! Before refueling your portable generator, always take these two steps: 1). Turn the unit off. 2). Let the unit cool down. If you are not sure what the acceptable refueling temperature is, consult your user manual.

DO NOT ever attempt to refuel a portable generator while it is running.

DO NOT ever refuel a portable generator moments after shutting down.

These devices remain hot for a long period of time and that heat mixed together with gasoline or gasoline vapors could easily spark a fire. It may be inconvenient but always wait until the unit cools down before you attempt to refuel. You may be a top-notch contractor pushing to meet a tight deadline and need your generator to power your circular saw. I've been there; you're tempted to ignore safety rules to get the job done, DON'T DO IT! It's not worth jeopardizing your physical well being, life or property.

Improper Set-Up and Installation

A portion of the portable generator related accidents arise from improper set up and installation. Here is our list of do's and don'ts to insure that your set-up and installation won't put you in harm's way.

DO NOT ever attempt to use your portable generator to power any house using a practice known as, "back feeding." This is when the output from a generator is plugged into a wall outlet. The theoretical thought is; the generator will feed all of the other outlets in the house. This dangerous practice usually bypasses the built-in household circuit protection devices and even worse, presents an electrocution risk to utility workers and neighbors served by the same utility transformer.

We never advise anyone to connect a portable generator to house wiring unless it is done by a qualified and licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical codes. Moreover, only use a portable generator to power a house as a temporary solution in emergencies. If this is an ongoing scenario, a permanently installed standby generator is better for your needs

DO Plug appliances directly into the generator. If you must use an electrical cord, use a heavy duty, outdoor rated extension cord; one that is properly rated to handle the sum total of the appliance load. Check the entire cord from end-to-end to confirm that the cord is free of frays, cuts or rips and that the cord has all three prongs, particularly the grounding pin.

Electrical Hazards

Treat portable generators with the same safety precautions as you would a normal power source. Remember, most generators lack protection devices such as circuit breakers; therefore, they can be considerably more harmful in the event that you happen to get electrocuted. To avoid shock or electrocution, make sure your hands; body and feet are dry before touching a generator. Never attempt to connect any appliances while barefooted.

Keep every connection clean and avoid tangling of cords, unnecessary and unsafe connections. Never overload your generator with too many appliances or devices. Keep your generator dry as much as possible and never use wet electric devices under any circumstances. Never let your generator work in the rain. In rainy weather, use a canopy like structure for protection.

Improper Storage Hazards

Always avoid these common portable generator and fuel storage hazards.

DO NOT ever store fuel for your generator in your home. As a safety precaution, gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, kerosene and other flammable liquids should always be stored away from living areas in properly labeled, non-glass safety containers.

DO NOT ever place or store any fuel container near a generator or near any place it could absorb heat. That means DO NOT store fuel containers near any fuel-burning appliance such as a natural gas dryer or water heater. If the container is not sealed properly or fuel is spilled, it is possible for vapors from the fuel to be ignited by the appliance's pilot light or by arcs from electric switches in the appliance.

Vibration Accidents and Noise Hazards

Some portable generators vibrate considerably, which causes them to shift and move. If they are sitting on a tailgate of a truck bed or on any other surface where the potential of falling off exists, this is a clear safety hazard and should be avoided. Always survey your location for this potential hazard. And remember, most many manufacturers suggest wearing ear protection when working around certain portable generators, consult your owner's manual.

With gas prices at three dollars a gallon, it is time to take steps to lower your fuel bill. There are several steps you can take to increase your gas mileage and put some significant savings in your pocket.

Make sure you are maintaining your car. A tune-up can make a dramatic difference in the gas mileage you are getting. This is especially true if your car is running rough or has a faulty sensor, according to the U.S. Energy department, a bad sensor can cause up to a 40 percent decrease in fuel economy. Also check your tire pressure and air filter, these to can be a major drain on your mileage.

The next step is to examine your driving habits. The speed you drive at will greatly affect your mileage, slow down. For most cars gas mileage greatly decreases at speeds over 60 mph. If equipped, make sure you are using overdrive gear, and cruise control whenever practical. Driving at a smooth, consistent speed, in overdrive, will give you the best gas mileage possible for your car.

Try to avoid "stop and go" driving and excessive idling. You may have to make some adjustments to the route you take, and do some planning to consolidate your stops. A little pre trip planning and adjustments can make a huge difference.

Pay less for your gas, this one seems obvious, but many people don't shop around for the best prices, there are several web sites that can tell you where the best local prices are. With the zone pricing the major oil companies are using, you may find a significant difference in prices.

Just by following the above tips you can make a dramatic difference in your fuel consumption and help lower your expenses. A twenty percent increase in your gas mileage is possible which is equivalent to a sixty cent lower gas price.

Vehicles not only require pleasing auto parts and accessories, they have to be tough and safe as well. To boost protection, Westin introduced enhanced nerf bars.

Westin, which has been in the truck industry for a long time now, is one of the leaders in steel auto parts manufacturing. It is known for its rugged and sleek nerf bars and bull bars. A nerf bar, another term for step bar, is located on the side of a vehicle. According to Westin, its nerf bars are better than the rest because it comes down to quality control and made in the United States on computer-controlled equipment. This equipment guarantees that every seam and weld on Westin nerf bar is in the precise location.

Westin uses its established know-how to design new products and innovations. That expertise allows the manufacturer to know trouble points. Westin pools of designers and engineers tackle the current problems in the auto parts industry so as to remedy them.

The three basic criteria used by Westin are fit, looks and durability. These criteria perfect the appearance and performance of the nerf bars. The no-ordinary bars can handle the biggest and heaviest step because it is formulated with accuracy. Westin claims that before these bars are introduced, they have to pass the engineering testing. These bars undergone salt spray testing to guarantee excellent rust protection. Hence, even if the vehicle is used on snowy, twisting or sweltering roads, it is still protected.

Once, I was searching for alter sources of generating power at homes. During browsing, I read stuff about "make your own windmill generator "a few months ago online but closed the website as it looked too time consuming.

I was discussing about the expensive charges of electricity with my friend and he too said to look into renewable energy options. Once again I was searching about solutions of high electricity charges and was surprised to see that each and every result was saying basically the same thing. I decided to read details about how to make your own windmill generator, and make sure this project was actually applicable for someone of my nature with little technical skills.

I discovered that this could actually be done fairly easily and much cheaper than buying a pre-made system. but of course, the free information I found was hard to understand and a lot of it had conflicting information and I wasn't sure which steps to follow from which guides.

I found one particular guide amongst many websites and found it had very low price and details were much more attractive about learning how to make your own windmill generator. I decided to learn how from that website. I ordered and immediately started reading and gathering the required parts and was glad to see its significant results. I come to know now that paying for the right information was much easier, safer, and headache free then trying to scramble through hundreds of websites full of conflicting information.

Earth4Energy was the guide I used.

Kipor IG1000 1000 Watt Inverter Generator

New model IG1000 (used to be KGE1000Ti) Rated Frequency (Hz): 60; Rated Voltage (V): 120; Rated Current (A): 7.5; Rated Rotation Speed (rpm): 5500; Rated Output Power (W): 900; Max. Output Power (W): 1050; DC Output: 12V-8.3A; Electric Circuit Breaker: Available; Phase Numbers: Single phase; Fuel Tank Capacity (L): 2.6; Rated Continuous Running Time (hr): 4.2 to 16; Noise Level [dB(A)/7m] (Zero Load): 54 ; Noise Level [dB(A)/7m] (Full Load): 59; EPA Certified Engine - 55cc OHC, single cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, low emission; Sinemaster digital inverter generators are approximately 50% smaller and lighter than traditional generators because the alternator is directly connected to the engine, and the flywheel is therefore eliminated. The voltage is constantly adjusted to maintain at 120V by the computer inverter module. The light weight design makes them ideal for transportation.Sinemaster digital generators are equipped with the unique smart-throttle. It can automatically regulate the engine speed according to the load, so the fuel consumption of digital generator sets is 20%-40% lower than traditional sets, so the running time is therefore much longer as well. The noise level is further reduced at lower running speeds. Sinemaster digital inverter generators have a new two-tiered noise dampening system, so the noise emitted by these generators is 6-9 dB less than traditional generators. This translates to 4 to 8 times quieter than conventional generators. A 3 dB drop in noise level represents the half amount on the actual noise. This meets the new noise ordinances that some state and national parks have adopted. 2 years warranty, we have a repair center and stock most of the parts.
Customer Review: Perfect for my off-grid beach shack!
Although it lacks the Amperage to power heavy duty items like circular saws, it easily powers my speaker system, 2 CD decks and a mixer, as well as a blender - perfect for a Sunday afternoon DJ party with frozen drinks! While I've only been using it for a little over a month, I can definitely say that it uses very little fuel, just as the manufacturer claims: when in Power Saving mode (which I just leave it in at all times) I have definitely gotten upwards of 14hrs of runtime on one tank.
Customer Review: great generator, great quality, great price
I am and electrical engineer who researced portable generators for months before deciding which one to buy including the popular ones like Honda and Yamaha. This Kipor is a high quality unit, not like the cheap no-name brands that you see on eBay for $200. This generator gives no problems: it starts every time, is great on fuel economy, is relatively light and is relatively quiet. One note on "quiet" is that it is louder than a casual conversation (as all generators) but the smart throttle lets is idle very low for small loads. Parts are also easily available and I bought spare air filters and spark plugs to ensure years of trouble-free service. I have powered my computer, lights and fan during a power outage without any problems and a 5 gallon gas container would keep it running for days! I have checked the output voltage with a CRO display and it is very close to sine wave as advertised, and allows dimmer lights to work! The generator needs to be kept preferably outdoors due to the exhaust (as all generators), which is also fine because it keeps down the noise: I use mine with a 50-foot 12AWG extension cord. All-in-all this is a very good generator for almost half the price as a Honda. Hope this helps potential buyers.

Generator set, skid mounted, tactical quiet 5 kW, 60 and 400 Hz ... 6115-01-274-7391 (SuDoc D 101.113:9-6115-641-12)

In 2009 Ford is set to deliver its latest breakthrough in engine technology. The EcoBoost combines direct injection with turbo charging. This innovative technology provides 20% better fuel economy and 15% lower carbon dioxide emissions and Ford intends to feature this technology in nearly half a million Fords over the next five years. Since cars and light trucks account for 60% of manmade greenhouse gases in the United States, including this technology in the most popular models can have a significant impact on lowering the total overall emissions from passenger vehicles. Fuel efficiency is increased with direct Injection technology by supplying the engine with small precise amounts of fuel and waste energy from the exhaust gas is utilized by the turbocharger to drive the turbines. This translates effectively to a V6 engine providing the kind of performance one would expect from a V8 all the while using less fuel to provide the power. So a 3.5L twin turbo engine implementing the new technology will provide around 340lb-ft torque with 340 horsepower.

With the fuel savings offered by the EcoBoost technology, most consumers should recover their initial investment in a 4 cylinder EcoBoost engine in about 30 months. The first vehicle to offer the optional EcoBoost engine will be the 2009 Lincoln MKS. Because the EcoBoost has a higher specific efficiency than the larger heavier v8 technology, it will save on weight and size as well. The 3.5L EcoBoost engine weighs 150lbs less than the 4.6L V8. This drastic reduction in weight also contributes toward the 20% increase in fuel efficiency. Due to the small low inertia turbos, the direct injection and variable valve timing, the torque curve is expected to be flatter and fatter with no lag time.

While Volkswagen and Mazda have been pursuing similar technology in recent years, Ford anticipates being the first manufacturer to take the technology mainstream.

Once the Lincoln MKS has been released, Ford intends to follow up with the Ford Flex and then the newly redesigned Ford Explorer. With the new SUV Ford intends to use the new engine technology exclusively with additions to most Ford models over the course of the next five years.

EcoBoost is meaningful because it can be applied across a wide variety of engine types in a range of vehicles, from small cars to large trucks and it's affordable, said Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president of Global Product Development.

The new technology was recently showcased at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Millions of people around the world today are turning to renewable sources of energy such as homemade wind generator. Mankinds consumption of power is growing rapidly and as the demand increases, the cost of fuel will also increase. This unquenchable thirst for power will also put a tremendous strain on our present sources of energy. Most of our energy needs comes from fossil fuel, which is quite limited in quantity already. The time will come when it will run out and this is something we cannot really prevent. A lot of people are now aware of the benefits of clean and renewable sources of power.

One great example of such renewable and clean energy is a homemade wind generator or turbine. You might think that it is costly and difficult to construct one such device. In reality, it is quite the opposite. Recent advancements in technology have made this feat easy and cheap. A lot of guides are available on the Internet so finding one is not difficult at all. There are so many guides available that you may get confused when choosing one. The best thing to do when confronted with this situation is to choose the most reliable one to making a homemade wind generator. It does not have to be the cheapest as long as it comes from a well known and reliable company backed by positive user experience and a trustworthy guarantee.

After you have chosen the guide, it is now time to prepare the materials and the tools needed for this project. This should not cause any problems since all the things you need can be purchased at any local hardware store. When building your homemade wind generator, it is important that you follow the instructions carefully. The instructions on these guides were made by experts who know how to disseminate information to the rest of us. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to figure it out. All you need to do is to follow the instructions and use your common sense.

The bulk of your time will be spent on constructing the fan and the tower. You can definitely do the tower yourself. However, for the fan, you can either make it yourself or order one from other companies. Ordering them will slightly increase your budget for the whole project. However, this would be ideal for newbies. But if you know you can make the fan yourself, then go for it.

The complicated part will be the electrical wirings that you connect your turbine to your batteries with. If you do not have the skill and the knowledge about these things, it would be best that you consult your electrician. It is also not recommended that you totally cut off your home from the power grids. Your homemade wind generator might not be making enough electricity for your home.

Generac Portable Products 4302 10,000 Watt Beacon Backup Power System

An RV is THE home for 'Earth Conscious', responsible people! I'm aware of the common
preconception of wastefulness they're saddled with. I'd also submit; that preconception
is misguided. The truth is, I don't believe that the average American could live more
environmentally conscious, than with what is 'built in' to the RV lifestyle.

Take a minute and think about it. The RV is the perfect pack it in - pack it out accommodation
for an extended trip to the woods. Not to mention the perfect home for an environmentalist.

It's compact, efficient; use of space, combined with its Solar Power system, (assuming you
install one!) consumes far less fossil fuel than even the smallest brick and mortar home.

On top of that, being an RVer, I am focused, by the limited fresh and waste water capacity of
the rig, on minimizing my consumption of precious water, thereby also reducing the production
of waste water to be dealt with.

I can't see how anyone wanting to minimize their impact on the planet could do better than
boondocking in an RV! Heck, even when I'm 'hooked up' to regular systems, my conservative,
boondocking ways carry over and we consume less. Habits learned from Rving carry over into
the rest of my living. Environmentally conscious behaviour in action!

I'm always on the lookout for new, easier, cheaper, simpler, ways. Cheaper generally means
I'm NOT buying something. Not buying something, means I have less packaging to throw
away... Less space taken up in land fills, less energy and resources to produce the packaging...
less energy and pollution to transport the product... etc.

Another, side-benefit is that I've finally found a way for my naturally, lazy, ways to be profitable!
Not having to buy something means I don't have to do the work, to produce the income, buying
'it' would have required. Less work suits me just fine! Just means more time to enjoy livin'!

Living in an RV, with its limited storage and cargo capacity, you have an enforced 'cap' on the
amount of 'stuff' you can posses. Anything you add in to the rig requires that something else
be taken out. The end result is a more thoughtful and conservative consumer!

The limitations of the RV lifestyle spill over and improve the world outside of RVing. We plant
an environmentally conscious seed... and we move on!

Even the relatively low fuel mileage I get moving the trailer is factored into my thinking. Our
camps are generally set for days at a time. Many days the truck never even gets fired up. Zero
fuel burned. Unlike at the brick and mortar home; which requires five days a week of slavery,
driving to and from work. When we do move camp, we don't go that awful far, and then we,
again, stay put for a few days. We travel, slowly, enjoying the improved fuel consumption.

End result... lower total fuel consumption.

If you use a rig for your living quarters, in town, and you're not even moving it... even less fuel consumption! Not to mention the huge reduction you can make in your monthly 'rent'.

All told, our net energy consumption is far smaller. Our 'sticks and bricks' house, burns two
hundred dollars worth of propane, per month, in the winter; another seventy five in electricity.
Our fifth wheel trailer consumes less than 1/2 of that propane, and that's in the winter. Come
summer and that gas consumption plummets even lower.

My electricity comes to me now from the sun, totally eliminating that expense... Free... once
the solar power system was paid for anyway. The 'brick and mortar' house required the burning of fossil fuel to power the electric generators down at the utility company... and thousands of miles of
power lines to maintain and mar the view.

So... my RV's Solar power system, not only conserves fuel and eliminates the resulting pollution, it saves me in the long run, the cost of $4 a gallon (and rising) fuel to power a generator. A 'little', up front investment, and that hassle is gone!

I habitually do a 'Navy' shower routine. Between the two of us combined, my wife and I, we
don't consume thirty gallons of water a day, usually far less (15+-). Compare that to the national
average of over 50 gallons a day, per person! Usually far higher than that!

Some might go on to call them campers. To which I reply: "When you haul a microwave,
computer and refrigerator, along with the television, stereo, couch, shower, queen size bed
and dinette to the mountains; supported by your own private, 'solar power company'; all the
accoutrements an American requires, you can call it: a road trip, you can call it going to the mountains, or even RV Boondocking... but you can't call it camping!" :-)

Finally, consider the amount of resources required to build the rig in the first place... Hmmm... the house is 2900 square feet... our fifth wheel trailer about 230 square feet. Want to make any bets on which made less of an impact on the planet to construct?

Are RVs wasteful and inefficient? I say: "Not likely!" To my mind, they are the best use of
available resources, while allowing a person a lower cost of living, which will free up the
time for them to pursue... living!... While being Environmentally Conscious at the same time!

My advice? Move into an RV! Enjoy life and save a whale! and maybe a couple of trees.

Brian is the "editor" of Goin' RV Boondocking, a website dedicated to the full-time, dry camping lifestyle. After a couple decades of RVing he has learned a few things the hard way!

Unit, direct support, and general support maintenance manual generator set, skid mounted, tactical quiet, 5 kw, 60 and 400 Hz, MEP-802A (60 Hz) 6115-01-274-7387, ... (SuDoc D 101.11:9-6115-641-24)

A quick internet search for "homemade hydrogen generator" brings up thousands of websites that encourage this money-saving, yet easy car modification. The basic concept behind this technology is simple enough; by building and installing this gas saving device, you will be able to supplement you car's gasoline, or diesel, with water. The water is electrically-charged and separated into hydrogen and oxygen, both of which are combustible, and able to boost gas mileage by anywhere from 50% to 70%!

The materials used in a homemade hydrogen generator are easily found in any local hardware store and will cost anywhere from $60 to $200 - a really low investment if you consider the long-term savings you will gain.

There are several different "styles" of conversion but all have similar components. In order to convert your car from gas guzzler to gas conserver, you will need a glass jar about quart size, wires to attach to the car battery, a fuse that goes between the starter and the water jar, and two lines that will carry your "water fuel" into the engine's intake manifold and carburetor. Best of all, the building and fitting to your specific car should take only a few hours. A diesel engine takes a simpler and quicker modification.

The advantages of building a homemade hydrogen generator for your car or truck are well worth the small investment of time and money. The most obvious benefit is that a car fitted with this a homemade device will get a substantial boost in gas mileage. As stated earlier, this boost can be up to 70%. Also the engine will run quieter and smoother. This modification is also much cheaper than buying a hybrid car and some research I have done indicates that installing this homemade gas saver will get you money back on your taxes, simply because you are driving your car on "green technology"!

If high gas prices are eating a hole in your wallet and you are contemplating selling your car, SUV, or truck in order to save money, I highly recommend a serious look into homemade hydrogen generator for you vehicle. After a little bit of research, a few minutes in a hardware store, and around a $100 investment, you can have a cleaner, and a more fuel-efficient car that can save you over $1000s each year on gas consumption. After installing a homemade hydrogen generator on you car, you can literally say that you have a car that "runs on water, man".

Want to build your own Homemade Hydrogen Generator but do not know where to start?

Fret not! Many people in your shoes have successfully built one on their own to run their cars on water. They are already shaving $1000s off their gas bills. Kipor Sinemaster Kge2000ti 2000w Electric Generator

KIPOR Sinemaster Generators are the latest rave. The second most popular brand generators in all of Europe for the past 6 years running, Kipor is a well established generator manufacturer of over 15 years and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of digital generators. These high quality generators are getting great reviews and are a fraction of the price of the competition. Just introduced to the United States market this year we are very excited to be one of the few places to be selling these high quality, reliable, super quiet, super lightweight generators. All Kipor generators sold by MCE International are backed by a 2 Year consumer use manufacturer's warranty. For more detailed product information and technical specifications visit the RaceDayAccessories website.
Customer Review: No parts available
I purchased the Kipor 2000ti and was impressed. Small, quiet just like the more expensive Honda. But, after sitting (without use) for a few months, the fuel on/off switch started leaking. Finding the part has been a nightmare. The product is still very new to the U.S. I can't find anyone, local or internet that has parts. Also, all the tech data/instructions that come with the generator are in Chinese. I wrote to the company asking for English instructions, to no avail. If I had to do it over again, I'd spend the extra couple hundred bucks for a Honda and the ease of parts.

You did not misread the title of this article. In fact, there is a way to do this with your current car or vehicle. All it requires is a couple of hours of very basic auto work and the total cost comes to about $200 or so. If it sounds to good to be true, check out the link at the bottom of the page. It shows a Fox News report on HHO modification or water fuel. I have also provided a link to a site that reviews the three leading companies that provide the manual and details on how to convert your current truck or car for HHO modification (water fuel).

Here are some of the ground breaking highlights of HHO modification:

  1. Water and electricity is broken down through a patented and unique electrolysis process. As a result, H2O is converted into HHO. this provides the atomic power of hydrogen and the chemical stability of water. In the end, it turns right back to water.
  2. A pioneer of this technology has recently gone on a one hundred mile trip with only four ounces of water.
  3. One of the many great benefits of this technology is found in the reduction of dependence on fossil fuels. A nice benefit for you and I is that we can see gas prices slashed in half because of this water fuel technology.
  4. There are currently a series of negotiations going on with one of the leading U. S. auto makers and the U.S. government for this technology. In fact, the government has agreed to start a gas/water engine for Hummers in the military.
  5. Members of the U.S. House of representatives and U.S. Senate have been looking into this technology as a viable alternative source of fuel.

If you would like to learn more about this HHO modification or water fuel technology and what it can do for you, click on the review link below.

Designed for simple monitoring, operation and maintenance. All components front adjustable and removable for serviceability. For use with Guardian Elite Standby Generators Item#s 167302 (100 kW), 167303 (130 kW) and 167304 (150 kW). U.S.A.

Many people prefer using an additive to their fuel tank which helps to keep a better running engine. When many people found out that regular gas and premium gas both give the same performance level energy wise they decided to go with the regular gas. Regular gas cost less than premium and you can get the same amount of miles. Premium gas does help the engine performance and makes it a cleaner running vehicle. Additives can help do the same thing for the engine and are much less expensive than using premium gas.

It has been found by using a diesel fuel additive you improve gas efficiency and reduce pollutants spewed into the air by vehicles on the road. When the government declared at one time that diesel fuel tends to create more pollution than does regular gasoline manufacturers made newer diesel engines that burn cleaner. The newer running engines burn cleaner and produce even better gas mileage that does regular gas. Some of the diesel fuel additives are known to increase your gas mileage by 12%. The diesel fuel additives also lubricate and protect the fuel injectors and pumps which extends the life of the engine. There is several highly recommended diesel fuel additives that I would like to mention for your information when you decide to select a good additive for your vehicle.

DurAult Diesel
This is an additive that costs the consumer only eight cents for every gallon of gas treated and it will save you up to ten per cent on your gas consumption. Most people find that they save thirty cents or more per gallon of gas depending on the pricing that they have to pay. It is an approved additive by the EPA and Worldwide Fuel Charter.

Stanadyme
This is a company that produces several products that can be helpful to your vehicles engine. One of the problems with diesel fuel is the fact that it tends to gel during very cold weather that is why you see larger engines like trains etc keep their motors running during cold winter nights. One of the products they do offer is called Winter 1000 and it does help to keep your engine running better on those cold weather days. They also produce a product called Performance Formula and Performance Formula Jr. which helps to give your engine much better performance levels.

BioArmor
This diesel fuel conditioning additive enhances the lubricity of the fuel and it is made from agricultural oils. BioArmor is 100% biodegradable and it improves gas mileage and pulling power, while cutting down on engine knock and exhaust emissions.

All of these diesel fuel additives are good for your vehicle and help give you better gas mileage. They are good for the environment by cutting down on emissions from your exhaust. As you are considering an additive for your vehicle think about the use of a diesel fuel additive.
